Queer Cadence

In Fall 2024, recognizing the need for a non-auditioned, gender-inclusive choral space for all voice types, Tone Cluster launched a pilot project called All Voices. Following three successful sessions and enthusiastic feedback from participants, the initiative has evolved into Queer Cadence—a non-auditioned, mixed-voice choir dedicated to fostering intersectional connections within the Ottawa community.

Queer Cadence values community connection and grassroots engagement, and you can find them performing in non-conventional venues, like outdoor pop ups, community events, seniors centres, and temporary housing communities. 

The choir welcomes all singers, whether you have only sung in the shower or if you have years of choral experience – we only ask that you can match pitch (and we can help you figure that out if you’re not sure)!
