Tone Cluster Auditions 2026
Monday Aug 31st and Tuesday Sept 1st (evenings, in Centretown)

There are four parts of the audition:
- Song – approx. 1 minute of a song of your choice (ex. Verse + chorus). Choose something you’re comfortable singing. It doesn’t need to show off any specific vocal abilities. You can sing it acapella, use a karaoke track, or bring sheet music to be accompanied.
- Vocal Exercises – A few simple exercises to assess your range and vocal colour
- Score Reading – walk through a piece of music to assess comfort (ex. Repeat sign, measure numbers, symbols, dynamics). This is not sight reading; you won’t have to sing anything.
- Prepare a New Song – on August 24th, you will be sent the sheet music and recording of a short song to learn, which you’ll sing at the audition.
